Academic Advisory Council

The Academic Advisory Council supports the work of the GRC and advises the Executive Committee. The members of the Council shall act as experts in the case of any review of the GRC by the Center for Quality Assurance and Development (ZQ) of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Currently, the following top-level researchers from other universities or research institutes are members of the Council:

• Prof. Christoph Kratky, Austrian Science Fund (FWF), Wien, Austria
• Prof. Elke Lütjen-Drecoll, Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur Mainz
• Prof. Luise Schorn-Schütte, Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main
• Prof. Horst Stöcker, GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research, Darmstadt
• Prof. Gerhard Wegner, Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Mainz
